We’re Trialling Posted Maggots

We’re pleased to share that we’re trialling a new way to get fresh fishing maggots to more anglers across the UK: posting them directly to you.

Our aim is simple, to make it easier to prepare for a fishing trip when you can’t get to the shop. During this trial, we’ll be testing suitable packaging, dispatch timing and delivery performance to help make sure the maggots arrive in the best condition possible.

How the trial will work

Orders will be packed carefully and dispatched on selected days, taking into account the time needed for delivery. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the condition of each order and using customer feedback to improve the process.

Because this is a trial, availability may be limited and some delivery dates or postcodes may not be suitable. We’ll make the available options clear at checkout, and we may contact you if an order needs to be adjusted or delayed.

What we need from you

If you take part, please make sure someone is available to receive the parcel promptly. On arrival, check the maggots and store them in a cool place as soon as possible. If there’s a problem with your delivery, contact us quickly with your order number and a photo so we can investigate it properly.

We’re excited to see whether posted maggots can become a reliable option for our customers. This trial will help us understand what works best before we decide how widely to offer the service.
