3PT Ventamesh Tub — The Bait Tub That Keeps Your Maggots Lively All Session
Share
If you've ever arrived at the bank to find your maggots half-dead and sluggish, you'll know how much difference a good bait tub makes. The 3PT Ventamesh Tub is purpose-built to solve exactly that problem — keeping your live bait fresh, active, and ready to fish from the moment you leave home to the last cast of the day.
What Is the 3PT Ventamesh Tub?
The Ventamesh Tub is a vented mesh bait container from 3PT, designed specifically for coarse and match anglers who rely on live baits like maggots, casters, and pinkies. The mesh construction allows air to circulate freely around your bait, preventing the build-up of heat and moisture that kills maggots fast.
At just £7.00, it's one of the most cost-effective upgrades you can make to your bait setup.
Key Features
- Ventamesh design — mesh construction promotes airflow to keep bait lively throughout your session
- Secure lid — keeps bait contained and prevents spillage on the bank
- Durable construction — built to handle the rigours of regular match and pleasure fishing
- Compact tub format — easy to carry in a bait bag or seat box drawer
What Baits Can You Use It For?
The Ventamesh Tub is ideal for:
- Maggots
- Casters
- Pinkies
- Squatts
- Other loose or live baits
The ventilated design is particularly effective for maggots, which generate heat as they move — the airflow keeps temperatures down and bait lively for longer.
Why Bait Condition Matters
Lively, wriggling maggots are far more attractive to fish than sluggish, sweated ones. On hard days when bites are at a premium, the difference between fresh and stale bait can be the difference between a good net and a blank. A quality bait tub is a small investment that pays dividends every session.
Who Is It For?
The 3PT Ventamesh Tub suits any angler who regularly fishes with live or loose baits — whether you're a weekend pleasure angler or a regular match man. It's a no-fuss, reliable piece of kit that does exactly what it needs to.
